We look at current events and trends and take a broad view of what those things mean to the Kingdom. We will attempt to answer the question: “Why should Christians care about this?” The answer to this question cuts both ways. Either it is a subject that Christians care too much about and shouldn’t, or don’t care enough about and should.

The nomination of Donald Trump has been problematic for the Church.  Leaders within the evangelical movement have been torn between several camps.  Whether it be the stance to #NeverTrump, to vote because of the alternative, or to openly and unabashedly support the man, evangelicals find themselves in conflict.  Through the conflict, the remnants of the Religious Right has sided with the nominee.  What are those implications?  Ryan and Phillip discuss them in what is the longest episode in the history of RPCR.
